The Deal
Michael assisted his married friends with the purchase of a beautiful 3 bed/3 bath condo in Potrero Hill in 2017. At the end of an eventful escrow process, he was able to achieve multiple ‘Wins’ for his clients:
- $45,000 final price reduction below asking price ($120,000 below Zillow's estimate on closing day)
- $10,000 credit from the Sellers for closing costs
- Credits from the lender for appraisal issues
- Additional credits from the Sellers and their listing agent for undisclosed issues identified by our inspections
- Extensions to inspection and appraisal contingency deadlines
- Despite all of the above, closing two days early!
